No one ties flies?

Yes NG, I also tie flies, I'm not sure the name brand of my vice. I bought it at Thorn Bros. It has a threaded sleeve over the collet, once you get the hook set into it, there is a lever on the end that you flip, releasing the hook, so you can take the fly out and flip over if needed. I also make spinner baits, river rigs and cow bell set-ups.

You want pics of my work bench in my garage, why?

Ng, I just make stuff for myself, nothing special, just a bench with a bunch of s**t on it.

I'm sure your set-up is profesional, you problly have drawers filled with all of your stuff. Mine is crap stuffed in coffee cans and jars!  :rotflmao:

NG, I just didn't want you to get your hopes up that I have a nice set-up like you.

I realize that you do this way more than me, I pull this junk out when it's brutely cold outside and there is noth'in else to do.

Trust me, you wouldn't be impressed with my stuff!

Hunter it sounds like we have about the same vice, don't know what make mine is either. I happen to mention to a friend one day that I was thinking of trying to fly fish and tie and they gave me the vice and few odds and ends. lol So there I sat with a vice that I had know idea what to do with and no fly pole. Looked up a bunch of how to stuff on the puter for tieing. I then ordered a grab bag of hair, some hooks and thread from cabelas, went to the hobby shop and got a bunch of crazy looking feathers and have been making a mess on hooks since. When ever some one needs a good laugh I give them one of them hooks.lol
NG, been trying to get you some pics. but they just wont come out good, maybe it's realy the fly's that are that bad. lol

O.K., I felt kinda bad NG, don't know if you took it the wrong way, so I took pics of my vise and bench.

See I told ya, not much to look at. The vise manufacturer is Thompson, all rusty, but still works.
