I'm guessing most of them south of the Metro after the rain and warmth today

A lot of them in the south metro are.  There is a topic in the metro lakes about it.  I think there are reports from a few north metro lakes as well.

Maybe some of the smaller shallower lakes, but from what I've saw over the weekend most still have plenty of ice.

all the ones around my house have no more ice, but they dont hold to many crappies that have size to them.

I talked to one of my clients today who lives on the lake and he said many of the bays are open, but not the main lake yet, last year the lake was opren by the 15th.

Heard with the rain yesterday Forest Lake went out so I am guessing a lot of the lakes in the area are ice free. Time to head out......

Me and the kids were out running around scouting turkeys, I did have the fish'in poles in the back of the truck and stopped by a small lake by home. We caught 20 to 30 small sunfish (4-5 Inches)
Ice was still on the main body, but the bay was open. We was fish'in from shore. WOOOO WHOOO!!! (well, it was fun anyway)

It was nice to get out!

Lake Jane, Demontriville, and Olson are ice free now too. Saw a few boats heading to Demontriville today, none on Jane yet.

driving north today... it looked like everything was opened up, up to about cambridge.  millelacs is looking like one good wind away from blowing all over.  it is about20 to 50 yards out from shore, and as far as i could see out, it looked like black slush.
