i DONT HAVE ANY IDEA WHATS GOING ON BUT WE HAVE PINTAIL ,MALLARDS,TEAL WOODIES AND BILLS HERE ALREADY. SEEMS THEY ARE HERE EARLY? ANY BODY KNOW IF IT FROZE UP NORTH ALREADY OR ARE THESE ALL LOCAL DUCKS BECAUSE I HAVE NEVER HAD THIS MANY POUNDING THE WILDRICE THIS HARD THIS EARLY? LETS TALK BACK AND FORTH

im seeing increased numbers of ducks around here as well, i would say its gotta be mid to low 30's over night way up there.

Early goose season and the SandHill crane season started, maybe they were pushed out due to the activity?

Youth waterfowl will be next as well.

i have never seen bills in sept. we are 40,s at night but not freezing yet. it doesnt make sense because they will be gone by opener at this rate. it should be the best opener ever but the problem is they are here already. this makes no sense to me. mille lacs is full of ducks almost like the northern flight is here.

i seen migrating geese today...atleast i think they were, WAY up there, like you could barely see what they were. well they could be coming down, from the looks of it, if they stick around ill have one fun opener here in a few weeks

seen 2 flocks of geese over the lake today,big flocks....also the loons are gathering on the big lake like they are ready to leave

 :fudd: depends on when you come up. The guys who help me on friday night and saturday night of opener. taking the docks out get to go free and are invited to the yearend party on saturday night with all the free food, :toast: beer,and pop they can eat and drink. :fudd: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:  any other time I charge $10.00 per time out and you dont get any beer, pop, and food  :cry: :cry: we have a group of 5 to 7 that help every year it takes a couple hours but we have a good time and a real good time saturday night...your welcome to join us if you want...call 320 692 4531  dont forget your waders
