I would like to try this. How would you go about doing this if you do not have a boat?

I ain't had a chance to get out this year yet. Been busy with da new boat and turkey hunting.
But, I will....have you had any luck yet?

And, Carp, if ya got a set of waders you can try walking the shallow muddy waters. Rough fish like to root around in that stuff in the spring. Or, you could stand on a river bank and shoot from there.

I did not have a boat to use until last year but i have been bow fishing for like 5 or more years. I use to shoot a lot from bridges and dams and like HD said river banks and shallow water. Its a lot of fun! Hoping to get out Wednesday night or Thursday night. I will try to get some pictures.

Made it out tonight for a couple hours. Water is way to dirty but we managed to get 7, then the wind picked up and ended the night. Here is a picture of the biggest.

The Crow river south of Buffalo is still over its banks and has quite a few bow hunters lurking in the backwaters. Saw a few carp tossed up on the banks waiting for the smoker treatment.

Been a pretty good year so far. went out last night and shot a bunch and we are headed out again tonight! Please do me a favor if you or if you know someone who enjoys this sport to pass on to fellow bowfishermen to not leave the carp on banks or throw them in road ditches! I talked to the local DNR officer and that is the number one complaint and their has been a lot of issues with it. So please pass it on, this is a great sport and would not like to see it end!!!

Hunting is not life and death. It is more important than that.
