Live reptile program at Flandrau State Park on June 4
(Released May 27, 2011)

Live turtles, snakes and lizards will be part of the “Remarkable Reptiles” program at Flandrau State Park on Saturday, June 4, at 7 p.m.

Jim Gerholt will present this family-oriented, fun program about the reptiles of Minnesota. He is the author of 32 children’s books on reptiles, amphibians, insects and spiders. Gerholt has been presenting his unique programs across Minnesota since 1985.

This event is free to attend for all ages. Vehicles entering the park must have a Minnesota state parks permit.

To visit Flandrau State Park in New Ulm, follow Broadway (State Highway 15) to 10th Street South. Proceed west to Summit Avenue. Turn left and proceed three blocks to the park entrance.
