Brought this little hunter home last week. Seems like a smart little guy and I have already been working with him on sit stay heal as well as a few other things. He's only 8 weeks so nothing to hard yet.
We are going to start working on fetching next month. I play around with him now and throw the dummy for him but pretty low expectations as of now. He is picking it up and will carry it most of the way back to me. He has skills!!! Just need to hone them a little.
Where did I catch all these fish you ask??? right in the lip....

Nice looking lab pup.Get him introduced to water soon before it gets cold either wading pools or a lake.

Once the water gets cold it is harder some times to get them to go in.

I have mine playing in a kids pool now and will soon take her to the lake to see if she will go out deep enough to swim.Of coase I will wade in with her to support her so she doesn't freak out when she is deep enough to swim.

Good luck and have fun with your pup.

Eastwood v. Wayne Challenge Winner 2011

The Boogie Man may check his closet for John Wayne but John Wayne checks under his bed for Clint Eastwood

Right on Benny. Those are some good tips. I have taken him down to the beach a hand full of times and got him out in the water. He really isn't scared of much and seems to be taking to pretty much everything I have shown him. He even jumped off the dock the other day when the boys were out swimming!! He sure is a fun little guy to hang out with.
