if the weather cools down a little hoping to atleast fill a doe tag but not sure with all the heat we have been having this week either way i think i will be sitting a stand on some water hoping to catch one coming in for a drink
Hunting is not life and death. It is more important than that.

Having an estate sale on my dads farm on Friday and Saturday.  Most likely will spend Sunday resting.  No hunting planned at this time.

ill be in my stand in the oaks. acorns are hit hard early, that's what my plan was last year and I tagged a doe right away on opener. I think ill go with that plan again this year, tag out on a doe early then concentrate on MR BIG. or if he comes in before a lone mature doe, well then ill concentrate on a doe later  ;D ;D

Heading up to Remer and hunting the evenins under a few big white oaks that are loaded with acorns. Hope we get a good wind. We will also be fishing the mornings. Hoping to add a few inches for the contest

It looks like the weather is going to cooperate, mid 60s for a high and lows into the high 40s.
I will be headed up to the Parkers Prairie area for a little sit.  I took the memory card out of the camera 2 weeks ago, and there was come decent bucks coming through.  One pic looked like a big 8, but it was dark, blurry, and it was walking away, so I will see if he comes by.
Sunday ill be headed to Pelican Rapids/DL to get some sunfish for the pan, and then back to hunting Sunday evening.
