Hey all, new to the forum and to hunting in general. My brother in law got me into duck and geese this fall and I finally got my first shotgun. He lives up by Saint Cloud and I am tired of having to drive up there to shoot my new toy. Does anybody have land that I could get out to close to the city on a weekday to work on my shot? Mainly to try different ammo and pattern my shotgun. Any help would be great!

for shotgun stuff I would recommend hitting one of the local clubs. Minnesota dnr has a listing. most clubs have patterning boards.. and a round of skeet/trap is under 20$.. about what it would cost you in gas.
If science fiction has taught me anything, it's that you can never have enough guns and ammo when the zombies come back to life... "WS"

Beaver Brook is close to the cities.

I believe it's in Ham Lake, or East Bethel......so, not to far.....

Is Metro Winchester still open? By the freeway, on Naples? Blaine?

Benny would know...........
