whats the best release to use for shooting league? just a normal hunting release or one of those back tension ones? and how do the back tension releases work? thanks

I just use my hunting release for leagues, works great for hunting....why change?

I've never used a back tension, so I guess I don't know if it's better.

reg release or one of the hand ones that very few people use to hunt/target you hit with your thumb

It's handle or nothing. I shot my first 300 with a Carter Just Cuz and I now shoot a Carter Plain 1. They greatly reduce shooter error over a conventional wrist strap release. I even use my Plain one for hunting.

I shoot one of those with my re-curve....they work pretty good!
