Fishing Challenge Idea...

So what would happen if I was to run a 2016 fishing Challenge with the original rules, no sign up fee, unlimited teams. Maybe some donated gifts disturbed as prizes and as drawings so everyone who posted a fish has a chance at a prize. My only change would be adding a Masters division that would have bigger minimum fish to enter and would not be a team challenge. Would you sign up for it?

Perhaps one of the adm guys could turn this into a poll question?

I will sign up. Sign up is more of a reflection of how many active members tbe web site has, not who ran the contest or what rules that are used.

I prefer the 9 fish total. I cant catch a 30 inch eye to often or a 40 inch pike but i know that i can usually catch 3 quality fish where as other people are 1 trick ponies.

it dont matter to me what changes happen or dont. i dig the challenge! i had a tough year. my lack of participation wasnt a choice. its just how things worked out.

I would sign up regardless of the rules and configurations.  I don't think limiting the participation is a good idea.  More is better.  I like that we need to post a fish to get into drawings.

Looking forward to the summer contest. I would also like to change it up and give a free guided trip on our boat imagine that. 300 dollars value. If you post a pic your in. Its up to you  how ever you want to give it away.  I like a 5 card poker hand my self. the more the merrier

I'm pretty much an automatic. The original model works for me and I am open to some tinkering, but be careful we don't wreck it.

  Hey guys I'm just checking in.  I wish I could be more help but I can't.    I have to make some moves this summer.  I am moving to East Bethel.  My parents (keep in mind that I am old) will be selling one of their two properties on the Lake of No Fish.  Unfortunately it's the one where I keep my boat and other man toys that would be frowned upon by the townhouse association that  currently tells me what I can park in my driveway and what time I need to turn my lights off.  So I'm moving.  I am moving my parent and myself.  I find it highly possible that I will not even wet a line this summer.  I do however have a little insight in the challenge experience.  I will offer my opinions as a non combatant if asked but please don't take my non participation in the actual challenge as anything other than I KNOW this summer I gotta take care of business.  I am not worried about the tax audits.  The State of Minnesota will waste a lot of working peoples money trying to shake another dollar out of me.  That stuff is just a nuisance.  I need to get my folks situated.  It's really going to be tough to be a non-combatant.  I got so used to mopping the floor with the General in the smack down I started to take it for granted.  Ill miss it and be wishing I could play.      Keep it going.   I have some ideas for next winter and should be done with the moves by then.
