Shed hunting

Have you gone out? Did you find any?   

I went for a look last night, but didn't find anything. The trails are beaten down and the food plots have been pummeled. So it shouldn't be long.

I like doing this when I am at the cabin. pretty tough in them big woods. did find one by accident one time. stepped on it right under my stand!!!!!! SHEEZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm going for a walk in the woods today after work. Check cams/take the last 2 down. Sometimes around here they will carry them into March. Cousin found a nice one yesterday up by park Rapids.

I might go looking on Sunday or the middle of next week.  I never have any luck finding sheds.  I guess there just isn't any big bucks on my land.......

I'm pretty sure this one is still there.

That's a nice deer deadeye. I looked for about a hour today but didn't find anything. I don't know why it's so difficult to find them on that land

The wife and I walked some public land on Saturday and only found this shed. It was beautiful weather for a hike.

The whole family went out on Sunday afternoon but no luck finding more sheds. We did find a couple potential new locations for stands.

Cody, maybe it's me.  Maybe I can only recognize antlers when they are attached to a buck.  I plan to give it another try soon.  Good news is that I didn't see any sign of dead deer.

Great day for sheds!  Best in years, but my neighbors put a big pile of corn right across the road from my place that has sat there all winter, 100+ deer some nights eating.  All I had to do was drive the ranger in a grid and try not to drive over them.  These are whitetails that travel some distance to the river to winter, I wish they all stayed on my place.
