Halting bonus permits at Camp Ripley aims to increase herd size. Previously, Ripley bonus tags allowed archers to kill a deer on base and in most cases continue to hunt elsewhere later in the season.

Good move.  I will apply in 4 or 5 years.  I feel it's a waste of time for me.  I have big bucks to chase up by our land without the issues of 2000 other hunters.
