Years ago I rented a sleeper house on Mille Lacs and had my buddies from Luverne come up for a weekend.  There were four of us.  One of them brought a huge pot of chili.  We put it on the heater and pretty much left it there.  It was great day one.  Started getting a little thicker on day two.  (we may have put it outside to cool off can't remember)  We all were farting so much and we were partying of course.  With the chili and cocktails we had heartburn that almost heated the house up.  NO MORE CHILI when in a fish house or in a small area.....   It was about 10 below during the day so everyone was in their houses all day.  The first morning my buddy says hey look at this.  This big fat woman steps outside and looks at all of the houses right there.  (20 of them)  She didn't see anyone outside so she kicks a dent in the snow around the fish house and turns around and drops her sweat pants and dropped a big bomb.  Gross as hell....  BUT we all watched.   lolol   We were still talking about how bad that was and this fat kid comes out and looks around and does the same thing about a foot away from where Mom just did her job.  Gross again but yes we watched and laughed our asses off.  You know everyone else was in their fishhouses watching too....  Thank goodness for them people didn't have phones with cameras or they would be famous....  Hey HD sorry to derail your thread but I think of this every time someone talks about chili at camp.....   If you want to turn this into a new thread feel free.

I always thought deer camp chili was a pound of burger, an onion, and a bottle of ketchup. Try it, it's better than some of those at the chili cook-offs I've been at.
