Good video. The only thing that I saw was that when he tightened down his rings he used the figure 8 method which I use also.  But, when he did the base plate he tight down one at a time front to back. I would use the same method as the figure 8 and snug them down staggered every other screw until tight to seat the plate down evenly. 
Cooking over a open fire is all fun and games until someone losses a wiener!
