Finished making my apple brats yesterday.  They have their own unique taste just like other varieties that I have made.  Had some yesterday where I simmered them in beer and onions and then on the grill to finish them off.  25 pounds of which I hope to keep some for ourselves here in the house.  Family and friends are already bugging me after I posted on facebook LOL.  Going to make some fresh old fashion franks next [not smoked as I normally do].  good luck.

Nice work, RH!  Been thinking about trying a small batch of these. I always get a little weirded out mixing fruit and meat, but it sounds like a good combo.

The bits of apples [dehydrated] were in the Curley's seasoning mix.  You can see the bits in the first picture.  good luck

The problem is, RH lives UP THERE, and I live DOWN HERE. This is making life very difficult.  :rotflmao: :rotflmao:
