Our ice team checked ice all the way to the Weimer/Bombeck flats and found areas of very thin ice (2.5"-3") and a large active crack between the second break and the north tip of the flats that is nearly 12' wide with very thin ice.   Due to the inconsistency of the ice past the first break, our access is open to walk-out traffic, ATV's and UTV's to the first break only.  We ask that nobody go past the first break as it is not yet safe and will continue to update you as the ice thickness progresses.   Fishing over the week proved mixed results.  Because of lack of snow coverage, the best bite occurred as the sun set (on sunny days) and some did well throughout the day on cloudy days.   The best reports have come from 19fow on the first break.   Stay tuned for updates....

Things may not get much better with the warm up coming for the next week or two.  :pouty:
Cooking over a open fire is all fun and games until someone losses a wiener!
