At my age I should be selling things, not buying them.  However, at the price I couldn't turn it down.
I think my brother in laws 700 Grizzly will pull it just fine.

Have one just like it deadeye. Have used it sparingly in the pasture, garden, hayfields, etc. A 700 Grizzly will handle it fine as I've pulled mine with a Polaris Sportsman 400. In these clay loam soils it's a little light so sometimes it takes going over the ground several passes to get it worked up. Some added weight helps. On lighter, sandier ground it should work better.

I plant turnips and other brassicas. I usually plant too late.  Probably middle of August.
I usually just spray it with roundup and broadcast the seeds.

Couple weeds came up in a plot last year.

My little half acre chunk was wet even though on a high spot.  Had more clay than I thought.  Took many passes to cut the sod and that is after I had sprayed with Roundup 3 weeks earlier.  But you got seed free so just give her all and see what grows.  These guys know a lot more than I do.  If you could go out and cut it up and then do it again in a week or two may help to get it ground up nicely.

Boar,
One or the other but not both.  Either make it a clover/alfalfa OR brassicas.  Clover will last 4-5 years and needs mowing a few times a year.  Turnips can be planted fairly late (Middle of August). It would seem a shame to till the clover under to plan something else.

I guess I misread you post.  I thought you planned to have clover early and then brassicas in the same plot for later in the fall.
I have plots that are part clover and part brassicas as well.
