Like some already said, no politics or religion at deer camp.  I couldn't even tell you what party or religion some of my closest friends belong to.

Leech, I know where you are coming from.  God bless all you guys who have strong deer camp traditions, but there are probably just as many folks whose traditions are dying out for any number of reasons we are all aware of.  Transitions are always tough.

As for politics...  I get it that the best policy is avoid the topic.  Folks don't know how to agree to disagree without getting all butt hurt.  Add booze to a hot head and it is probably best to part ways.

Good luck building a new tradition for those grand kids!
