From afar. Closest cover is 1/2 mile away. Open corn field all around. But very common for mom to leave them at this age. I wish people understood that when they find them!

The Westwind Resort posted that there was a mama moose struck by a vehicle and killed last week south of Waskish. It had a calf with it and the calf has been spotted several times over the past weekend between mile marks 30-31.

My aunt and uncle saw it from the highway as they drove by this morning.
