After deer hunting my daughter and I were shooting some targets.  Long story short a shell got stuck in the single shot.  We broke the ejector geting the shell out. :censored:  We took the gun to the store where we bought it.  They are having a hard time getting the part even though the gun is almost brand new.  Apperantly H@R was sold and the new company can't find where the old company kept the parts.

What would you guys do?  Wait and hope.  Buy another h@r from a different store, swap out the broken part and then return the new gun.

I am leaning towards waiting a couple more months since we have a LONG time to deer season.

Call Ahlman's in Morristown, MN they are just north of Cabela's off Hwy 35.
They do mail order.  They can be contacted at 507-685-4244 or www.ahlmans.com.

Good Luck'

There is a gun show this coming weekend at the Saint Paul armory, there might be a dealer there who would have a part for you?

Other wise as Gramps said, try Ahlmands.

If they don't have it or can't get it then you might be waiting for a while.

While it is there, you might as well have a couple different barrels fitted for the rifle.  Tell them you want an extractor put on that barrel & not the ejector.  All the new Handi's come with extractors just like Thompson's.  That way it will never be an issue again.
