Warm weekend coming.....

Anglers are reporting catching 10 - 15 fish per person per day, half of them nice keeper sauger and jumbo perch with a few walleye, the rest too small to keep.   Small crappie type tackle tipped with a minnow and using your electronics to tease the bite is producing the best results.

On the northern front....

Tip-up fishermen are starting to report great northern pike action in Four Mile Bay.  If you like big pike, they are reporting catching nice fish in the 36 inch to 44 inch range.

As warmer weather and longer days arrive try fishing shallow walleyes morning and evening and tip-up fish trophy sized northern in the middle of the day.
