i have a 1992 blazer a10 4x4 with the 4.3 vortec motor and the dam thing drains the battery while it sits , over night ..
ive replaced the starter and had tyhe alternator checked everything checks out good . i went out and bought a new battery for it too .. still the same problem ..
any thoughts ???????  :banghead: :banghead:

Unhook battery positive cable and hook an amp meter btween cable and battery post. See how many amp draw you have. Normal draw is usually about 20 milliamps. If more which I am sure you have, start pulling fuses one at a time until the draw goes away and then you will know what circuit the problem is in. My guess is probably a light or door ajar switch somewhere. Give it a try and let me know what you find.

then i would have to get a wireing diagram and start looking at all the wires in that circut ?

isent there a good mechanic that works off snelling and st.clair somewhere that might do side jobs  :whistling: :whistling: :whistling: :whistling: ;D

Its tempting but I am busy with family ailments up in bemidji right now but sounds like bonehead could help out.
