Where to get training birds (pigeons)

Got a 6 month old black lab I'd like to train on birds this weekend but can't find any place to go or to buy the birds.  The club I trained my choc lab 9 years ago in southern MN is too far south now that I live in Forest Lake and they like the club in Pine City want me to buy 5 pheasants plus membership fees each time I go out.  Don't really want to expose my pup to roosters yet nor do I have the need for 5 birds every time I go.  Decided to just shoot in my yard (5 Acres) but need some place to find the birds.

Any one know of place in the North East Metro area where I could find a few?

there was a guy on craigslist selling pigeons. do a search with key word pigeons in all for sale /wanted

checked it already...at least in the metro area.  Could only find a people selling racing pigeons or doves...One sounds illegal to hunt the other too fast to hit

Greenghost, i have a 11 month old yellow if you ever want to get together (I could bring the birds up to your place in forest lake).  I live in Little Canada, could find out where in Roseville to get the pigeons...just a thought.
