Metro bite is on

Made it out to a local metro area lake late last week, the bite picked up considerably from the week before. 12 fow all on waxies, I was using a small Diamond Eye jig by JR's Tackle and my dad was using a small white Rat Finkee. Here is a picture of the ones we kept. The Crappies we caught were from 10" to 13". We did manage a few nice gills just before dark too.

I headed all of the way up to Mille Lacs the last two weekend and managed one perch total.  My brother managed five total.  I will have to stay here this weekend!
