For those of you that have filed already you can go to the IRS website and see if you get one ..... remember this is just an estimate but it will give you some idea on how much you will get

Are these being issued so we can purchase something made in china? I don't get it our kids are left with the debt to pay it back.

If they really wanted to stimulate the economy they would cut the gas price in half.

Like Joe said above is a great idea but it's sort of a free enterprise industry.  But however, I'd like to know how or why the government can always step in in Airline Strikes, Merger Deals etc... and then not the Gas/Oil companies, pretty much same thing??? :toast:

Imagine that. I would have a lot more money if that was the case.

This is the scariest time financially since I have been on my own.  Taxes are skyrocketing, gas already has and is going to keep going up, my house payment is going up due to the last school referendum, license fees are on the rise, food is up, and I will be down a couple of thousand in pay this year due to a cut in overtime at work.  Now for a happy note...

actually, it's not free enterprise... the government mandates that you must in Mn, sell your gas within a specific band, so that all gas stations are close.  For example, some gas station can't just lower it's price 10 cents less then the one across the street.  the government would get on them.

Ken, thats pretty funny and right on the money... My check will either be buying a turkish made 28g SxS or a probably Japanese made bed cover for my truck... if ya dont put it towards a service of some kind, it aint gonna stimulate much in the USA is it!?!
