Calgary or Colorado?

Is it looking like we will most likely be playing one of these teams in the first round??

I am rooting for Colorado to beat us today. That way we should play them in the playoffs. I dont think we can beat the flames. I would really like to see us play dallas but yes it either be Calgary or Colorado.

Colorado is no slouch... If they would have had the players they have now, they would have won the division.... but Id still rather play the avs than the flames, Jarome could singlehandedly beat us.... If we get past the avs were probably gonna have to take em on anyway.... BRING ON THE PLAYOFFS!

Do you really think that Calgary will beat San Jose? I think they have a chance but the Sharks are on a major roll of wins.

The sharks are solid, but when the playoffs start, anything can happen... Calgarys got the stuff to make a run at em... I think we do too!  I just hope the Red Wings get dismantled by someone...dont wanna play em!

I agree, the playoffs are a new start and anything can happen. And I also agree, I DO NOT want to face Detroit.
I think the Dallas-Anaheim game should be interesting.

Bummer about Nick Schultz and the appendectomy...(sp) Maybe he'll bounce back quick & we can ride into the playoffs a while so he can finish the year playin and not recovering in a bed....

Nummellin should do ok fillin in, hes a little more offense geared it'll be interesting to see him play more now...Im wondering who's gonna sit out... Boogeyman, Parrish...Simon?  They gotta play Fedorek... I wish they could have em all on the bench, they all have their positives....

That was definately play off hockey.
I told the guys at work that I predict this series will go all seven games and at least three games will go into overtime. I also think that at least five games will be a one goal spread.

It was a pretty good game, except for the losing part. It was pretty cool seein the Boogster flyin around out there, on a few different lines... weird hearin "Gaborik to Boogard... back to Gaborik...OH!"... until he fanned on that puck in the crease... Fun to watch though eh?  Whats the word on Parrish...anyone heard anything yet?

All right guys, Im working 13 hour nights and sleeping; that's all I got going now.   So I'll have the game on the radio and have my jersey on.  This is a solid team.  They didn't get Division Champs by accident.  I hope you guys going to the game and/or watching it enjoy it.

Havent missed a game all year! Well except when deer hunting and the weekend of Poutfest.... Im kinda miffed with some of the negativity with the "non hockey minded" sports talk radio personalities on the radio and some on the tube... its weird, if it was any of our other teams winning the division, the buzz and hype would be huge!  All I know is hockeys my favorite sport, The Wild won the toughest division in the sport, Im pumped up...got a full tank of gas...its dark out and Im wearin sunglasses!  GO WILD!!!! ps...yer exactly right Grute... it was no accident!

Hockey is the only sport I watch any more. I might catch some of the other stuff once in awhile. Hockey hockey hockey.
I cant for game time. Once the playoffs are over I go through withdrawls until next season.

Well I barely got to listen to the game.  Usually, Im bored stiff at work but of course they really needed me during the game.  Once the game was over, they wouldn't have known if I had died.  At the end, I pull up to the ofice and we're at commercial before OT started.  So I run in to get some chow.  I get back in the truck and they're rappin up the goal.     I missed it.     But I am VERY pumped that they won.

I also think its sad how little hype hockey gets.  Other local pro teams have barely earned their stay but you never hear the end of it when they win something.  Well a Cup would change all that wouldn't it??

Here we come, Colorado.  Better just get out of the way.
