Well we are getting ready for the opener, and the season. With the 26'' of snow last weekend its going to be fun. Well the fishing has come back to Leech Lake. With the stocking over the last 3 years, and more to come, Leech Lake has come back to it's claim of good Walleye fishing. We had a great goveners opener last year, and it didn't stop. We had a great 2007 season, and look for the same this year with plently of eaters for the plate, and the trophy size for the wall. We really did have a great year last year, and it will be getting better from now on with stocking, and the cormorant control. We hope to see you on Leech lake, and if you need a place to rest after a good day of fishing, please ckeck out our web site at www.acornhill.com, or e-mail us at acornhillresort@aol.com for info, or a brochure.
