From what I have read the catfish should be starting to feed real good now or soon.
Does anybody know if there are any cats in the Mississippi in  St.Cloud?

there is a good population of channel cats in the Miss.  Many sizes, nothing real huge, but many in the 2-5 pound range.  So yes is the answer.

I had a seasonal camper on a lot at 2 rivers campgound where the Platte river meets the Mississippi. I have caught many Catfish at the mouth at sunset and after. The Campground is about 15 minutes north of Saint Cloud on Hwy 10...Many Smallmouth Bass were also caught. So I know there are plenty of Catfish in that area...Good Luck...
