So, the ice will be coming off lakes later this year.  Up north maybe as close to a few days before the opener?  So with the ice coming off later then normal, what will you do different as far as presentation or areas you might fish?  I think the walleyes will be shallower, that's were I am going to start first looking for them.  Anything thing else you might try or do differently?

I'll be watching the temps and searching for warm water. Bays on north end of lakes and I'l start off fishing slow and then go slower. I have a feeling this is going to be a slow start to the season but.... we will see fish registered for the fishing challenge  the first weekend.
