Made it to a Twins game

My younger son (Oober Poneage) got some tickets to last nights Twins vs Tigers game and invited yours truly.     As we were sitting there, a photographer with the Twins asked if we'd like our picture taken to be put in their web site.  I said I was kinda shy    but I'd do it anyway.     Here's me with Oober Poneage:

Thats pretty cool and it was a great game to go to also, except for Gomez getting hit in the head.

That is cool Grute.  Nice pix's of you and your boy.  There was plently of excitement at the game last night.  I hope we can carry some of that offense over to today too.

Cool pic's Grute!  Yeah, nice jacket too...  How bout that Gomez kid?  First cycle since Puck did it in 86' I think...I remember him doin it, doesnt seem that long ago. man how time flies.... Im hopin Carlos (Go Go)Gomez has a nice long career like Kirby did, and maybe a bit longer even.  It was pretty cool how Gomez went for third when he needed a double for the cycle, and he ended up geting the double because of the error anyways....

Anyone see that first game against the Rangers?  Gardy used up all his position players and started using pitchers to hit!  Livan Hernandez was even in the circle when we won it in the 12th!  Scarey, but awesome!  I heard it was the first time a Twins pitcher got a hit in an american league park since 1973.... Wow!

1973??  Thats a loooon time ago.  Oh what, let me do the math (umm I was born in 66 ....) Oh 1973, thats not that long ago.
