Went out to white iron lake. Got on the water at 5 am.
Used crappie minnows, and a walleye mix of minnows, Gulp leaches, gulp red worms, gulp maggots and night crawlers.
Bear grease island,  was the gathering for fishing boats.. 17 of them. All of us catching nothing, Some moved to where Birch lake comes into white iron lake there. The stream was moving fast and roaring,  white foam all around, little by little the boats moved over there. I spoke to a few who caught nothing. I trolled all over, stopped here and there, using everything i had with, and i only caught one 13 inch walleye. But i have to say he was solid and full of spunk lol.
It was in the upper teens, when i got on the lake, and i braved out the cold till 1 pm, the temp then was 44.
the hurrier I go, the behinder I get
