i tried for 2 yrs to find this buck,he was about 2 yds from my stand when this was taken,i know hes not trophy class but i figure hes respectable

He's a trophy to me Huntr42!!  So is he gone now...or is he still around?  Maybe, you'll have your shot at him this year...hopefully!!  :fudd:

the land he was on recently sold so Ill have to move my stand off,3 yrs ago I passed on a 40 yd shot on a big 10 pt on the same land,I thought I might get a better shot at him later but he never came back either.Im not sure if the 8 pointer survived or not

Very nice deer, If its private land, I would "try" to let him go 1 more year, public land i definitely shoot. Easier said than done though when something that nice is in range.......

Wow, I can just feel the skeeters, flies and ticks sucking my blood.  Poor deer (dear).  No polar bear fur for protection, no horse tail for swatting, no fellow monkey to pick them off, no deet, no screen house.  I am glad God gave us a brain and opposable thumbs!
