What kind of arrows do all my fellow bowhunters use. i use carbon express terminators with the 2" vanes. and these are some of the toughest most accurate arrows ive ever shot. it cost a little over 100 dollars for a dozen but its well worth it. who here likes the 2" vanes or the 3" vanes

i just use the gamegetter aluminum, for the range of less than
30 yards they work good enough. we hunt heavy wooded areas.
would like to try the carbons though.

I shoot Carbon Express 300s with 4" vanes.  I really like the carbons.  Aluminums will dent the first time they get hit.  A carbon can flex and take a little abuse.  I do check them frequently because I had one break as I shot it last year.

These seem to have the right spine strength for the bow Im shooting and have been real consistent for me.

Easton Axis for me.  They are nearly impossible to break.  They shoot lazer fast out of my Black Ice as well.

For hunting I want a tough no nonsense arrow. I shoot 3D off and on throughout the year and I practice once a week starting about now. If I were to become more of a target shooter and compete every week I would consider different arrows (and probably a different bow).
I've been very impressed with them so far. I was and still am shooting the last of my Carbon Express CX 300, but they were discontinued. I think my next dozen will be Gold Tips.

Well if the CX 300s are discontinued then I might just try out the Gold Tips too.

im from Lakeville,Mn and im new at archery and this site. i use carbon express 4560 with a 4 inch vane. if i had the money id get the 2". i really like the carbon express arrows i wanna try maxima too.

CX Maxima's, 250's for 3D with 4 inch AAE fletchings, the stock fletchings are very noisy in flight. 28", 326 grains they fly 351fps which is great for 3D. If your range is off by a couple of yards you will still shoot a 10. For hunting I use CX Maxima's 350 again with the 4 inch AAE fletch, 28" 100 grain heads these fly at 326fps and carry 90lbs of enegry. The 4 inch vanes steer a broadhead as if it was a target point. For hunting I leave the bull dog collars in place.

Carbon Express Maxima Hunter Arrows with blazer vanes and Cedar wood arrows with 5 " feathers. Cedar for my recurve and the CX for my compound.

i shoot the carbon express. i used to shoot the alluminum but didnt like them, they were pretty heavy and the carbons shoot faster. i suggest you get carbons instead of alluminums.

I also use Gold Tip Hunters with the blazer vanes. I'll keep using them until they are gone and then maybe try something new. so far (2nd year using them) I really like them. I'll tell you what though, when I first shot them my group was about 5 inches to the left because of the blazers, or maybe because of the carbon arrow I don't know. Did the adjustment and now I'm right on.
