***   This is a letter sent to my from a friend from church.  If you are interested, post a reply here or PM me with your email and I'll email you the application for this shoot.  ***

Please join us on Saturday, September 6, 2008, for our First Annual Mike Charpentier Memorial sporting clay event, to benefit the Wildlife Science Center.  Mike was a dear friend and sponsor of the center, and we miss him so very much!  We hope you join us in honoring him through this day, which he started years ago on behalf of the wolves.

The cost for the day is $125.00 per person or $600.00 for a team of five. Your ticket includes lunch at noon, the 50- bird sporting clays event, and appetizers after the shoot.   Shells are the responsibility of the shooter.  Either 12 gauge or 20 gauge steel trap loads are acceptable and may be brought in but will also be available for purchase directly from Wild Wings the day of the shoot for $8.50 per pouch.  This event will feature a silent auction and raffle drawings with exciting prizes.

You do not need experience to have a great time, so gather your friends and colleagues for a fun-filled afternoon.  Please help us celebrate the memory of Mike.  Your tax-deductible registration fee should be made out to the Wildlife Science Center and must be included with your registration form.  Space is limited, so register now!

Your contributions will help the Wildlife Science Center continue our critical work in conservation and education.  We look forward to seeing you at Wild Wings for a great time and a worthy cause!

Warm regards,

Peggy Callahan
Executive Director

OK Im not part of this group. I just told a friend I would post this for him here.

They now are raffling off a Remington 870 Shotgun with second barrel. Raffle tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20.

There is also a raffle for a Scot Storm framed duck print. Scot has won the Duck Stamp contest several times. So Joy may ask is it for the gun or the duck print.

Here's how to get your tickets early/fast: mail a check payable to the Wildlife Science Center 5463 W Broadway, Columbus, MN 55025 (mail it soon so that it arrives by Wednesday 9/4.) Provide name, address, phone and email address with the check.

If you want to talk to someone about this, call the wildlife science center @ 651-464-3993 and talk to Joy (between 9am and 4pm)
