Went out to Marion in Lakeville yesterday, July 1. Took the duck boat out ;D.  We caught a number of sunnies, mostly small only 4 keepers. A lot of C&R sunnies under the 35 bridge. My friend caught a Northern on the west side of 35. Still a hammer handle but just big enough to start becoming a Northern. We'll get him again next year! Then we were fishing the south side of the island and ran out of bait, so we started using the Berkly pink maggots. That didn't stop our fun. The bucket mouths were really going for it! my friend caught an almost 2lb'er mine was just over a pound and my middleson's just under a pound. Plus a few fingerling bass.

Over all a good day.
