Does anyone here have a string tamer on their bow or a model like it I was just curoius because i was thinking about getting one my buddy got one and he said it took a majority of the noise away from his bow.  I was just wondering if anybody else had one and if they work good?? Thanks for any input

Yes, they do work! They can do wonders for recoil and string noise. Some bows benefit more than others, but most seem to get some improved feel. Adjusting the gap to various positions can help fine tune the setup also. I have even made my own custom fit suppressor to save weight, but it's a nice looking, clean installation when you use the String Tamer or the original S.T.S, which is our biggest seller. You may run into an application that adversely affects arrow flight and requires a bit of tuning, but that's really rare.  All in all, I'd say it's pretty much nothing but upside! I use them on my setups, even my target rig.

They reduce the possiblity of string slap on your wrist big time .......... They eliminate alot of  string noise & shock as well.
