Wow OJ, it looks awesome!!  :toast: I bet your wife is going to put that to great use!!  I mean she could have her own little office in there, a sewing room maybe....and hey, she could have a REALLY nice craft room!! .....I'm thinking that she's already been looking at walpaper and paint (maybe a fushia, or a nice mauve would look fabulous!), I am really good at picking out colors, so if she needs any help, just let me know.  How nice that she now has her very own little get away!!  What a guy!!  :woot:  gg

Nice job OJ.   :happy1:

I wish I could rebuild mine.  It would probably be a lot like yours.  I just don't have the cash flow right now due to kids needing braces, car,   :blablabla:

I always say "you can never have too much garage space".   I know what you are going through, I built one last year.  It took me most of the summer.  Great fun if you don't do it for a living. :toast:

Here is a little back breaking landscaping we did on the back side of the garage.  All of these rocks were dug up from my yard when preparing the garage site.  I can't believe how rocky my yard is!

This is actually two walls with a landing or walking path between them.  Can't really tell from this picture.

Here is a stone path I making for the wife.  It is not done yet.  I have to make stone steps into the hill after the corner of this path.  I made this with flat rocks I dug up preparing the garage site.

Wow OJ...It looks incredible, and like a lot of hard work!!  That is so sweet of you to do that, and you must have got a lot of brownie points for making your wife her very own (custom made) path out to her get-away!!  She is one lucky lady!! :woot:

Nicely done Brother OJ!  All you would've had to do was pay for my gas there and back and I'd have helped ya out!  So what did you do to tick your Mrs. off so bad that you had to build her a rock walking path?  :rotflmao:  Or are you just making up for something you'll do in the future?  :rotflmao:

Here is the retaining wall I started last weekend.  Almost done.  One more layer.  These darn blocks weigh 87 lbs a piece.  My back is pretty stiff this week.

Dennis,
From the looks of things I feel like I'm leading a double life.  You are just completing what I did last year.  I also had to build a retaining wall when I built the garage.  The stone path was built out back through the garden and to the pergola.  I used stones gathered from my hunting land.
So, Dennis, if you are living my life but a year behind, I could tell you what projects are in store for you next year.  I will give you a hint.  Hail storms can raise hell with roofs and siding!

Here is the path prior to completion.  I later finished the path past the garden shed (another project last year.)

Man, what a difference a year makes.  This was taken about a month ago.

Hmmm...just curious...is that little building in the middle of the flower bed a tool shed or a two-holer?  :moon:
