this, in response to bareback jacks post on the IBOT forum;

jack, it is to late to do anything about it.
I for one, do not have the time or energy to make any changes.
Russ has been gracious enough to offer up a central location so more people can attend, that might not otherwise be able to attend for the greater distance(= time and money).

i was at the farm last weekend dropping off the crap house and the set up is nice.
we have indoor outdoor horse shoes. a place to camp and drink beer, rain or shine.

I'm not sure where the dog rule stemmed from, and at this point I don't really care.
let the chips fall where they may.
those who can make it will have a great time. those who don't will be missed, but they will have next year to look forward to.
work is just nuts right now, but i am still hopeful for a friday night arrival. the worst case will be a one day shot for me and the kids. if it's to hot i will not leave the beasts in the kennel. maybe i can find a place to board them. i am not going to loose any sleep over it right now.

we need to concentrate on the needs of the event.
mostly we need a good showing.
secondly we will need people to pitch in with the set up, which will consist of mainly organizing where the tables will be and the coolers and the grills.

Russ is worried about intoxicated trap shooting so lets keep that point in mind.

placing the campers so we do not block people in is important. there is plenty of room in the field, but that is out in the direct sun.

i will have to contact uncle nutsy for the keg preparations.
daveo for the banners and spinach for the meat supply.

one more thing i want to address is the horse shoe tournament.
i would like to see it run the same as last year. pick your partner and winner take all, single elimination.
the catch this year is, Russ has some friends coming who are pretty darned good shoe pitchers, but they are not IBOTS. if they win, they then take the trophy never to be seen again? thoughts? comments?
lets get this thing together. anybody who needs directions let us know.
we need to make contacts of potential attendees to refresh their memories.
my guess is i bet we hear alot of "oh crap, was that next weekend?"
someone bring tunes.
take a kid hunting and fishing!!

THWACK KILLS!!

Thats easy, Only IBOTS can take home the trophy, Non-IBOTS can still participate in the tournament, but the trophy would stay with Putz and Buckhead because they are the reigning champions. This would eliminate the chances of the trophy dissappearing.

BTW.... I plan on winning the tournament anyways. ;)

we agree with Jigglestick and Putz about it staying (the 1 of a kind) trophy staying in the Ibots
winner can get a picture with it and maybe a certificate to take with or a replacement dummy

also it was great to see Jiggle and Sohawk stop in last weekend to see the lay of the land and the set up for there approval and give better suggestions along with delevering the potty - which Beaver has got all cleaned up

Regarding the trophy - I say CLAMP em ;D!

Russ - don't worry about the drunken trap shoot.? The IBOT security team (me and jiggle and anyone else who decides to join in) will see to it that it does not happen.? I for one will not allow my trap launcher to be used if the shooter has been drinking.? Besides, my children are going to be there and I will not allow drinking and gun play in their presents.
Let just do it before 2pm or something like that.

Russ - Ill be up on Round Lake this weekend.? If you need a hand on Saturday for anything to help get ready for next week, let me know.? I'll send you a PM with my cell number, but as you know the service is pretty spotty around there.
My initial response was to sue her for defamation of character, but then I realized that I had no character.
