That hit by Winfield on Brees was awesome, I felt it from here.

Winfield sure is having a great game, lets hope the defense can continue to keep them out of the end zone and our offense gets rolling soon.

17-10 with 7 minutes left in the first half........ Lets keep it going.

Brees is still getting the ball when and where he wants to with Bush...they need to shut him down. Overall though, I am pretty impressed that the Vikes are hanging in there so far. Let's see if they can keep it up for the entire game.

Wow.... There is our early xmas gift. The entire game went our way from the turnovers to the refs..... It's about time we win a game on luck!

That game makes up for the Indianapolis game we lost a couple of weeks ago in the last seconds.

This win was almost all luck.  The Vikings need to do something about special teams, not just because of the two TD tonight either.  It seems like every time they punt the ball there is a good chance the other team can score.  I'm just glad Bush fell down on the second return or I would have lost my fantasy game.

The Queens didn't win. The Saints just pissed it away. I wonder what the box score looks like in this one? About 4 to 1 in total yards and offense I bet. If it wasn't for turnovers and penalties this would have been a blowout in the Saints favor. I will give you guys some credit, your not cloudy eyed queenie fans that think the team is great!!!!

This is going to be a very disappointing season. If the game had not been on a Monday night I don't think I would have watched it. Someone let me know when Childress is gone, then I won't have to listen to my five year old grandson call the plays and get most of them right.

Augie... they are great.... great at makin me not wanting to watch em.... I keep wanting to, but then they get inside 30-40 yd line and they :censored: take a year off my life every time! :banghead:  what is it with the coaching staff that can make it look so futile and hopeless for us to get the  :censored: ball in the end zone?  Its just hard for me to watch.... and whats up with AP?  Watching Winfeild kick butt and 3-4 feild goals a game is hardly worth wasteing half a sunday for!  I want my hockey season NOW! :taz:

AP has one big problem. He is the only true offensive threat the queens have. Every other team in the league knows it. When they only have one guy to worry about it is not hard to imagine his numbers being poor. Hard to get anywhere when your passing game looks and performs like a Jr. high team. Man am I glad I am not a Queenie fan. Makes for a good year of ribbing all my buddies and anyone else that is!!!!!!!!! :woot: ;) :rotflmao:

well i beleive the saints did what the vikings have been doing all season long and thats shooting themselves in the foot with penaltys and turnovers. it wasnt luck, it was a good game and i am a die hard vikings fan. yes childress  :censored: but we have a pretty good team. and AP will get his carrys just not always on first down maybe they should mix it up and pass on first and second down then sweep it to the left to AP!

Imagine how good the Vikings offense would be if they called plays like the Saints do.  Brees really took advantage of the play action pass.  Why can't the Vikings get more creative with their plays.  Gus has a decent (not great) arm.  AP would be able to run the ball easier if we had more big passing plays.  Although, for the first time all year Berrian was making some big catches!

We could have beat Green Bay and Indy earlier this season.  We were right in both of those games.  If we would of had one big play in either or both of the games, the Vikes would be sitting pretty good right now.

Maybe this will be a turning point?

Dont get me wrong... Ive been a Vikes fan since a kid, back in the Purple people eater days... and always will be, although they nearly lost me at the end of the Denny Green era, but Im starting to lose my purple blood... we're back to having some talent again after losing alot of it the last five years, but its like the coaches dont know how to use what we have! :banghead: The last game already had me wishing we'd lose so we could get a different staff in and get a head start for next year with a new system... The one thing that is still driving me nuts is that weve got some great blocking tight ends and backs and we NEVER utilize them with short passes up the sides, especially in the red zone, thats how ya free up the middle of the field , by makin em honest... Peterson is the perfect back to throw to on those short routes!  I cant see what Ziggy see's in this staff... oh to have Tice back in the saddle with the talent the Vikes have now....

Hey, I got some great seats from a rep from work for this weekend.  I was wondering if anyone tailgates down near the dome, before games. Maybe i could stop by, or something.  Been to a couple games, but never tailgated before.  Thought it would be fun and something different.  :toast: :tequila; :drinking:

The games Ive been to the last couple years, there are some hardcore fans that tailgate in the parking areas a short walk from the dome... its broken up into different areas... alot different than the Pack fans do it.... If they fix up the dome, they otta buy up an area around the dome for parking and tailgating.... just cant do it right in a parking ramp! ;)

 Could not agree with ya more!  How can ya have a football game without tailgating?  They supposedly have shuttles to the dome from those off site parking areas but that seems kinda lame... its definatly what keeps me at home to watch games,  Zigmund needs to look into this aspect... think how much money there is to be made, and how the fans would be all over the Vikes if we had a place AT a stadium to play before the games... they'd sell out every game like the Wild do..... your right on bonehead... build the lot and they most definatly will come!  (borrowed from James Earl Jones, feild of dreams ;))
