I know this is a bit early but how many have started to think about icefishing yet? The other week I replaced a broken jack on my FH and it got me to thinking of all the other stuff I will have to do inorder to prepare for the upcoming ice. It's in the heat of the summer when a person is out on the thawed stuff that makes me worry about my ice equipment. Why I don't know ??? but with my work schedule I don't have enough time left in summer to get it done. I still am going to take time to fish the soft stuff yet.

I just had to move my portable off the freezer in the garage the other day. I did start to look around in the tub a bit to see how much of a mess I left from last season, but it wasn't too bad. Of course it was hotter than hell in the garage so I wasn't out there long. I think I'll give it a couple more months.

Sure could go for one of those bright sunny days on the ice waiting for a flag to go up about now.

I wont be getting ready until about an hour or so before my first trip on the ice. I always plan on getting ready sooner, but it never happens, so this year I'll just skip the planning part. ;D

Right now I don't care if I drilled a hole or not . I'd prolly play polar bear and just lay on the ice.
