I popped up two roosters too far out today (they're jumpy), and a few hens.  Seems pheasant numbers are way down this year.  I am not sure if it is because so much corn is still in, or all of the obese red-tail hawks I've been seeing.

thanks for the report.  I usually make 10 or so trips a year out there and I'm going to wait for the corn to be out.  The hunting around here has been pretty good.

Thanks.  I finally got one.  Just had pheasant and wild rice soup, and some rabbit meat on the side.  Delicious.
