We won tickets to the game on Saturday, now I need to find parking that is close in but resonably priced.

Any one have a favorite ramp or lot they use that is with in two blocks and under $25 to park??

Well We parked in the Star Tribune lot off Park ave.

The game was alright, didn't stick around to catch the twins rally in the 7th but we had enough of the game by then.

Now I remember why I don't like baseball, to slow in the action department for me.

Parking was not to cheap any where close to the dome, we paid $15 and were a block and a half away, the closer lots were all $25.

Man are the consesions high dollar, spent just over $125 for three pops, one t shirt, one cracker jacks, one bag of peanuts, one single serving pizza, one deck ball cards, one small sheet of twins tatoos, one program and one twins magazine that was dated last week.

The beer was $6 a bottle and pop was $3.75 in the seats by the walking sales guy.

But it was an over all fun time and I spent it with the familly so I guess it was a winner for me!!!!

I just find it ridiculous how much they charge for consesions. Glad to hear you had a good time.

If you really want to have a good time at a ball game try the Saints. It's more than just a ball game, and it won't break the bank.

If you don't want to walk more than two blocks you probably should stay out of downtown and stick to the suburbs.  Twins parking is cheap compared to the Vikings and Gophers although I see that prices are going up now that they are winning.

Beer is expensive at the dome.  I went to Fenway in Boston a year or two ago and it was actually cheaper to get a beer there than it was here.  Everything else in that town was more expensive than it is here though.

I wouldn't have minded the walk, but with that heat I didn't want to subject the family to it .

If it wasn't in the high 90's we would have parked 3 or 4 blocks away so we could save the pennies.

I know the Vikes demand more,I was at a few games last year and ended up paying $25 in a tailgating lot, only to have some drunk pass out right behind my car.

This is a little late but for future reference - The Hennepin County Medical Center ramp is great for any event in the dome.  You get in and out quick.  We were at the Detroit game a week ago saturday and I think we paid $7 or $8.  For Gopher games I think it is the same.
