A friend I made last year ice fishing came up last night and we are heading out in a bit to wet a line. The plan is to fsh a bit in front of our place then come in for breakfeat and fish a better part of the day. Who knows maybe we will be having fresh fish for dinner.

Good luck to you and your friend Cookie!  You don't know how good a meal of fresh fish sounds to me right now.  :happy1:

Well heres my report for today :reporter;
After fishing out in front of our place for 2 hours we marked a few fish but they would not bite :fishing2:. After coming in for breakfest Jake talked me into trying a old favorit area and darn if Jake didn't catch a crappie. I think thats the earliest crappie I have seen caught the 6 years I have been up here. We also caught 3 walleye but only kept one a little over 16 inches. The other two were on the smaller side. All in all it was kinda slow today. Everywhere I measured ice it was 7 1/2 to 8 inches. We are going to fish again in the morning and then it sounds like Jake has to get home

Thanks our web site has been up for a year. Our son Joe did it for us. Were still waiting for him to help teach us how to add and substract things.
