Anybody in Bemidji area that traps beaver that would like to help rid a small creek of a beaver problem?  We don't know how many there are, but in some spots there is no water in the creek.

Have you located the lodge and is it on your property?

Don't know where house is (probably more than one) and various family members own land from the road to the lake it should flow to.  We also know the farmer on the other side of the road too.

We are in a similiar situation, we have 180 acres SW of Bemidji (Becida) with a creek right through the center of it.  The dam is on our property and there is a 4 wheeler trail through our property that can get you within a few hundred feet of it.

The local DNR is suppose to be checking and supplying us with a name of a trapper in the area, but as of now, we haven't received any info.

I have contacted the district 2 co-director from the Minnesota Trappers Assn (lives in Blackduck) and he is going to see if any of his buddies are close to our place to do the trapping.  www.mntrappers.org and I looked at the districts and officers - seemed like a good place to start.
