We fished Whitefish yesturday, we marked a few Crappies in about 30ft. I cought 6 and tossed 2 back, the biggest was 11". We might try it again later in the year, we had to leave early due to the massive storm moving through.

We had the pleasure of fishing out of Little Whitefish resort last Saturday.  We had a great time and caught lots of crappies 10 – 13 inches, plenty for a few meals kept 23 for our group.  Most of the fish came on the glow fire tiger Jigging Raps.  Size 2 covered in maggots. Greg and Deb are great hosts if you want it they will make it happen for you.  If you looking for a great experience close to home, look them up. They will get you on fish.

:happybounce: we went out a plowed a 2nd road of the main so now we are in the two big crappie holes....we have 20 to 24 inches of solid ice and the slush is gone... i would guess that people will start taking trucks and portables to other spots now...we will have to see if retractables will follow  :woot: this should make it so they can start to catch walleyes too....sorry if i dont get back to returning calls right away..spending alot of time on the lake ...and then working at the school at night  :bonk:
