Barnacles Update 1-3-08

[Barnacles Resort]

The snow and wind are making things difficult...hard to keep the roads open. However, the fishing has been good on the East Flats and Barnacle Flats for Walleye. The Sands have been good for Jumbo Perch.
Loren Bollig caught a 27" plus walleye on the Bumps last weekend...see attached picture.

How are the roads looking up there? They were pretty tough last weekend. Lots of work just to make a trail that drifts over in 20 minutes. Fishing was good in my house anyway. 6 fish at 24 a 27 and 2 keepers. 14.5 and 17.

Roads are in much better shape now. There is also a new road to Schultz's and working on one to the Blue Jug. The crack healed up at Barnacle Flats and that road is good too.
