Carl Pohlad dies

KSTP just reported Carl died today... I heard he was the one
that donated all the money to the people that lost their apartments
in the burnsville fire.

It is true.  He was 93.

Yeah he was one of em.... I was doin some work on the workstation here at work when I got the e-mail from one of the big-guys at Northmarq, where I work.. Carl was a owner, as is his family.  He was a great guy, and boss... and will be missed... Carl was kind of known for running the Twins with sometimes some tight pursestrings... but he did so much more for our community and state... I always admired the way he ran the Twins franchise over the years.  He and his late wife Eloise  were always fair to people and were very generous people.  Now his sons will take over the buisnesses they are in, and Im sure they will continue to run things as their parents have for years...  here's to you Carl!
