That's exactly what I told my Mrs. when questioned/scolded about being on MNO "too much".   And 2nd-there's no such thing as too much of a good thing!

as i was logging on just now my wife gave me a look and said you and your MNO stuff. then i saw this post and she just laughed. she wants to get an account just so she can tell all of us whats up. that she would go on a rampage... she said maybe the wives just want a little attention. ahhh what do you say to that guess i gotta go ill be back later haha

Well I have already got the wife hooked on bow hunting (so I can get more days afield) and next year she wants to try the shotgun season (So I can buy another gun for her to shoot and get more days afield).  This Sunday throught Tuesday we are going to Red lake to fish (So I can get more fishing time)...what the hell I might as well have her sign up on this website and talk amongst the wives (so I can get more time on this Web-site!).  Pat would probably love if half of our wives joined.  Might be a good marketing skeem.  He could have a wives forum where they talk amongst themselves about everything women related in the outdoors.  Maybe share some cooking tips so we can all get fatter and such...we might just be opening up a huge can of worms as well!!  Dell might love MNO when we all have to get a second computer so we do not compete with our wives for time!

Stensethfan, I have done the same thing.  I got her into fishing, thus more time on the water, and started getting her into hunting, thus more time in the field.  If only we could find a cheaper babysitter.........  Oh yeah, Grandma and Grandpa do it for free!!!!!

Amen to that I have a little one on the way right now and will get to use the Grandma and Grandpa card a ton next fall during hunting since I hunt in their back yard!!

they will love taking the little one, but beware of any babysitting "arrangements."  When my now 14 month old was born, Grandma and Grandpa INSISTED on Every other weekend.     Every other weekend?  if you insist.......  why wouldn't I want a weekend where I can sleep for 48 straight hours to catch up on sleep?  Then, it went from every other weekend, friday night to sunday afternoon, to one weekend a month, then it went to one day, every other weekend, to half day, once a month.  after asking about the "arrangement" and what happened, grandma insisted that she wasn't getting enough time with her grandson, and now it's back to every other weekend, friday night to sunday afternoon.  Plus, with them only living 4 miles away, if we want a night along, guess what?  here comes grandma!

I know we are getting off the subject of our wives and what they think about the time we spend on MNO, but kingfisher1, you are not my brother in-law Shawn moonlighting as an outdoorsman are you?  This sounds identical to my mother-in-law and my brother-in-laws situation....that just means one thing, Grandmas are all the same.  Look out for the rollercoaster ride!

If you think you got problems now wait till GG starts coaching them on how to do this and that and the other thing.  We all would be major league screwed. I just tell mine I get ideas from sites like this on how to take kids along with me outdoors, or how to do different things or what have you. She made a comment about sites like this one once upon a time, and I told her there are way worse things I could be doing than this. She just told me not spend too much time on the computer. I asked her if she wanted to make love she said sure. That only worked once so far by the way. The rest of the time she says now I get to watch what I want on TV so have a good time.

I think that she is still busy with her family stuff, she is trying to take care of her dad and manage her family and get to work and hold it all together. Just another " Wonder Woman" like so many of us are married too, weather or not we are willing to admit it!!!

WHEW!!....okay, I'm done!  That took a lot out of me, it's been a while.  But it's nice to get back into the hang of things here, and it's good to be back!! Admit it boys, you all missed me, didn't ya!!!

Hey GG or  as we all know you. Glad to see you still checking up on all of us here. I hope that all is well with your family. I know what your going through and we are all praying for the best for you and your family.

As for my comments I made NO my wife was not standing there looking over my shoulder!!! She was busy doing something else being my "Wonder Woman".

You know that we will occasionally just have to throw some crap at you just to make sure that we get a response so that we know you are still out there. So if we throw a few shovels of manure your way make sure to respond and let us know how you are and things are OK.
