Well, it was a slow day on the river.  We (JCAMRON and I) were on the ice by 6:30 and fished untl noon, with only 1 crappie to show for our hard efforts.  We searched for fish in 25-39 FOW, and when we found fish, they were pretty tight lipped.  Some people that I talked to also said that fishing was slow for them.  The single, lonely crappie was caught on a teardrop tipped with a minnow, as that continues to work.  We tried everything from dead sticking to jigging spoons to bobbers tipped with boh minnows and eurolarvae.  A possible report to come later today as well.
walleyes, pannies, esox, cats, I don't care, let's go fishing!!
