Fishing trip anywhere

SO it is the middle of winter, here is a question for you. If you were to be a winner for a fishing trip anywhere at anytime of the year what would you select at your dream trip?

I for one would love to chase Peacock Bass in the dead of winter with a second choice of maybe Tarpon. Fishing barefoot with the sun on my back sounds really nice this time of the year..

Open water winter time for those big 'ol browns that I read about earlier in the river by Milwaukee!

3 weeks.......rafting........alaska......start on a rivers  interior.....end up on the coast.......

I agree with Bobby, going after those Peacock Bass would be a killer trip.

I would have to try to decide on whether to go after peacock bass in South America, Tarpon fishing in the Keys, or going back to Reindeer Lake in Northern Sask. for huge pike!  Last time I was there, we pulled in over 2 dozen pike over 32" each day, with the largest being 46.5 inches! 

Could I just spend a week doing each one?

I too would love to go and chase some peacock bass in the amazon.  Or go up to alaska and go for halibut and salmon.  Or some huge yellow fin tuna.

It would be just fine to me to go up to leech or lake of the woods with my dad and go walleye fishing.  I wish that he would come out of retirement and go pheasant hunting with me again to either southern mn or south dakota.

Go to pool four in Red Wing. You'll get eyes right now on open water using plastics. Little chilly though.

I doubt my little 9.5 horse evinrude can handle that. If anybody is heading there and has an open seat in the boat I would be more than willing to fill it!
